Does somebody want to say me his/here experience with this host (If its a good host, I'll maybe spend more than originally wanted ) Searched the forums, and found very good reactions and none negative element, is it true? or just a dream ?

They are good. Support is outstanding, and since their move, uptime is 100%. We've been with them for about 6 months now and are very pleased.

100 %, a dream come true, but how do they do the updates that requires a reboot then?

but how do they do the updates that requires a reboot then? << I don't know. I'm just reporting my experience. We ping a site there every half hour, and have not had a negative yet. I guess there will be one sooner or later, but support is so good, I'm pretty particular it won't last long.

Half hour checks don't give a very accurate picture. They're better than nothing (or hand checking) though.

30 min checks are good enough for us... especially when backed up with the knowledge that response time will be pretty instant (and top notch) should we hit a problem. Putting it into context, of our 40-50 hosts, maybe 6-8 others are on a similar level over the last 6 months. And more and more of those 40-50 hosts generally are improving, as we bring in new hosts to replace the rubbish. Managing this lot though.... with these stress levels I don't expect to die old!

I've been with them for about 4 months now and like everything about them, price, spec, uptime, help desk... Which leads me on to the fact that one of the people at Dinix who helped me with a support call was called Douglas Kuntz. He was still polite to me after I pointed out that he had a funny name. I mean, who the hell calls their kid Douglas?

If a server is properly configured, a reboot is only required for a very serious remote root exploit in the kernel, and that is rare. BQ Internet reboots servers about once every year just to gain new features which have been added to a kernel.
