Start-Up Dedicated Reselling

Posted by CArmstrong, 06-16-2004, 01:06 AM
Will many dedicated providers require potential resellers to already have an established company and website? I'm looking to create a business around reselling dedicated servers, but I don't have the website built yet. Thanks!

If your bying then most of the companys dont care about an existing site, although some will make sure that you are in a contract for a particular ammount of time so as to pay off the debt for the servers. -Sketchy

No, i think most of the company don't care about the website. But having a professional website is a plus point to reselling dedicated servers

Mostly people seek for a great deal...but having a professional design will always attract and convince people more

Right, I understand that a great design is essential to attracting clients. I just meant could I still sign up for a reselling plan before my site was finished. I see that I can. Thanks guys!

Yes you can 95% of the time, just explain that your site's in development.

Yeah, explain the situation. However, some companies require that you already have a server or servers with them before you can resell. You might want to check into that as well.

Okay thanks guys. I'm considering SuperbServers or Nocster. I'd prefer SuperbServers, but they ask how many servers I'm going to start out reselling... but I'll really start out with zero, and then grow. So perhaps I'll choose Nocster.

I started as a superb reseller a few months ago and didn't have any servers to start, I simply applied to their application form and then I was given the pricing of 20% off and then I was a reseller without actually having sold a server. So I don't think you need to start with multiple ones. Once you sell more you get 30% and then 40% but you automatically get 20% off before even reselling one server. This is the link that you can apply with http://www.superbservers.net/services/partners.php Hope this helps.
