MySQL status - failed attemps ¿?

Hi everyone, OS: CentOS 5.4 - Dedicated MySQL box. MySQL: mysql Ver 14.12 Distrib 5.0.77, for redhat-linux-gnu (i686) using readline 5.1 DBs: all small MyISAM databases While going to phpmyadmin, status, i noted there are some errors on the mysql server, "failed attempts", i guess this are failed attempts to connect to the mysql server.... Please, take a look to know what I mean: http://yfrog.com/4jmysqlfailedattemptsj But, after investigating... the site is ok, no mysql errors, traffic seems stable from mrtg graphs.. the only weird thing I see, is that mysql server seems to be restarting itself automatically , these are the logs: Any ideas about if this can be related to the "failed attempts"? I already checked for crons or stuff that can make mysql restart, but don't see any.. any suggestions? Thanks.

try to upgrade mysql to 5.1 version and see if the issue persists.
