LiquidWeb has confirmed network outage. Some of our servers are affected, others are not. They expect the problem to get resolved in the next 30-45 minutes but refused to give an official ETA.

Yep we have 1 server in DC2 which is affected but others which are running just fine. LW confirmed that they are working on the issue and will have a fix ASAP.

Our servers are back up. Total downtime lasted for about 50 minutes.

I will post soon w/ a further explanation of exactly what happened. If anyone has been affected, submit an SLA ticket for complete compensation. I apologize for this event and will be back in touch with more information as soon as possible. As always you can email me directly too.

Our server also back up. I have already sent the ticket for compensation.

Not sure if compensation is warranted if this was caused by an external source.

Why? Dont you think its their responsibility to have an architecture to protect themselves from these type of things?

Read the SLA. You are not due anything: Network SLA Exclusions Many possible situations are completely beyond the control of Liquid Web, and therefore are not in the scope of this SLA. These situations include: Malicious Attacks - if a third party not associated with Liquid Web initiates a "Denial of Service" or other form of disabling attack against your Dedicated Server or major portions of our network, Liquid Web will do everything in it's power to stop the attack, but cannot guarantee a resolution time.

Hi Mark, Lets not jump the gun quite yet, I'll know more after some further investigation. I'd be happy to review any SLA claim. Thanks for your help,
