Changed DNS IP's...how long for prop?

I changed the IP addresses of my DNS last night, at about 11:30, so how long does it take to change? Does it take 24-72 hours like a domain DNS change? EDIT: Oops...should have posted this in the domain forum...

Just wondering, My DNS zones was updated last night. My nameservers and associated IPs are same. Only all the sites were moved to a new server, hence the IP was changed. And within 2-3 Hrs all my sites were up and running. In fact no body would have noticed the change, if MySql transition would have been smooth.

If you set your Zone Refresh rate to something like 500 24 hours before the move, this can help solve a lot of problems. Although many ISPs will still cache Zones for longer.
