If you check the email headers of culprit spam, are you able to see any proof that the email has been scanned? Does it give it a spam score?

Hi Adam, please give commands to check headers. Thank you.

check your anti-spam software policies.

For example in Outlook 2007. Right click a message and select message options. It will then be under internet headers. If it's been scanned you should see something like:

Check spam assassin is enabled in WHM: Main >> Server Configuration >> Tweak Settings Make sure "SpamAssassin Spam Filter" option is checked. You can tweak Spam Assassin's settings under: Main >> Service Configuration >> Exim Configuration Editor It's a good idea to use RBL's.

Bear in mind that the default config of SpamAsassin which cPanel comes with is poor at best, even with RBL's enabled. Ideally you need to setup some other scanning agents e.g. DCC/Razor and get some decent SpamAsassin rules in there e.g. SARE. If you have no filtering at the moment at all then enabling SpamAsassin will at least filter out some of the messages.

Enable SpamAsassin. I got same bad experience 5 years back. Once I enable 90% spams blocked by SpamAsassin. Good Application. try out and let us know your experience.

There is really no nice way to say that Spam Assasin sucks. From my experience its pretty bad. Install a better spam filtering system....

grscripts.com don't be put off by the site design or the English. This guy isn't a web designer by all appearances but his spam software rocks all night.
