Portal Home > Knowledgebase > Articles Database > Help ! Wordpress blogs getting raped by Amazon, Linkedin, Facebook, Google etc...
Posted by glace, 07-19-2010, 09:27 AM Hi ! Ok here is my question: If a wordpress blog is receiving a very large amount of accesses from pages like Amazon. Linkedin, Facebook, Google etc. why is it ? My guess is that these customers are using some module that is making connections to these pages or something like that. I have to figure out how I can reconfigure their blogs in order to stop these accesses because they are constantly crashing my server. The amount of accesses I am getting from these networks are completely insane. I have like 100 processes all taking as much from the CPU as they can. Especially MySQL is stuck with hundreds of processes to these blogs. These customers must have configured their accounts to somehow connect to these corporations. How do I change this ? Thanks for any ideas or information !
