major problems with sultanhost!
Posted by rubberduck, 11-29-2004, 08:51 AM |
Hey,
is anybody here a client with sultanhost? During the last days I've had big troubles connecting http and smtp and pop3 (every protocol actually), I used Allerta to see that my uptime this weekend of 91 procent.
I know that sultanhost is on a datacenter in Houston, and hope that this unconviniance is temporarly.
Please help,
Yves

Bummer but there's no one here that can actually help you. Just wait and see and if your uptime keeps dropping, well, just move to another hosting provider. But my advice would be for the time being to contact your host to find out what's going on exactly. Might just be a temporary thing. **** happens.

3 times this week? The downtime has been that long? They didn't even send you an email to explain?
I remember about a 24 hours downtime once due to server upgrade but my host sent me a few emails (to let me know and explain, etc) so I guess yours should've done the same thing. I don't know who you're currently with but there are many good hosts out there (Beachcomber.net for instance) that take customers very seriously. You might want to let them know what you think as soon as everything is fixed.
Te laisses pas faire mon gars.
