proftpd service not found on plesk

I am facing very strange problem few days back I uploaded few files with ftp on my centos 5.x with plesk 9.2 but now I can not find ftp service on my server. when I check /etc/init.d/ there is no proftp,vsftp,pureftp but conf files for proftpd exist and command /usr/sbin/proftpd exist...please help me how can I use ftp service because I need to upload files. I faced this problem after rebooting the server.

Ok guys solved the problem...actually in /etc/hosts and /etc/sysconfig/network hostname were different so I just made changes in /etc/hosts and everything started working fine.
