Have you contacted them? Let us know how it turns out....

Posted by eSited, 01-02-2005, 05:21 PM |
Are you saying your account is suspended?? Due to what reason?
Looks like they have this 7 day money back guarantee, I'll say if you personally do not like their service/support. Go for the money back.

mmm sad way to treat customers... not at least telling them why acc is being suspended.
All the best with your next host the_berber

I hope and pray your still not waiting on a response from them?
1. They give you no reason to suspend your account
2. No replies to you emails for hours
"Maybe" it was a mastake. But still they should have replied by now and discussed the issue with you "if it is one". Them not responding to you and giving you a reason is very unprofessional in my opinion. Just think if you had 20 customers? You would be stumped with no answer.
That leads me to #3
3 . Leaving customers in the dark.
my 3 cents..
Good luck my friend....

Glad to hear you are happy... perhaps a review in 6/12 months would be worthwhile for others.

Well they're great for the money.
|
Posted by Canglan, 01-06-2005, 04:07 PM |
Not really, you get what you paid for.
If you have big sites / high traffic sites, don't host with ZoneServ, they will terminate the accounts WITHOUT any notice.

Why can I say I am would not be surprised? 60 GB's of data transfer for $5 a month? We've seen this story one to many times. Not saying it is the case as I have no first hand experience with them but then again I would never expect those features for the price stated.
|
Posted by ZoneServ.com, 01-07-2005, 08:39 AM |
When you buy a package you can use all of your 60GB's of data transfer (MiniZ package) - Fact.
When you buy a $15 package, and have a Chinnese forum hosted on him getting mass attacks and floods (some where 400+ requests per second) - Yea sure, I will keep hosting the guy and let all the other cusotmers suffer, No, I would not!
Canglan,
We have been execellent with you, and when you signed up you saw very well in our TOS and agreed that if your sites will overuse our service or harm other customers we have the rights to suspend or even delete your account.
I am warnning you, if you keep flaming us like this I will not hasitate and report to the autorithies.
Have a nice day,
Gil - ZoneServ.com.

I am confused, is it not allowed to have a Chinese forum on ZoneServ.com?
Or not allowed a forum getting mass attacks?
|
Posted by ZoneServ.com, 01-07-2005, 10:30 AM |
Ofcourse not to have forums who get massive attacks!
We do not mind if your forum is Chinese, Hebrew, English, French, or what ever!
Regards,
Gil - ZoneServ.com.

If one of my client's forum get massive attacks, then my reseller account will be deleted?
Or just the client's account will be deleted?
If I or my clients have forums who get massive attacks, but it's not our fault, then our account still will be deleted?
|
Posted by ZoneServ.com, 01-07-2005, 12:29 PM |
If your client's forum gets massive attacked, then his account will be suspended (and probably routed out to 0.0.0.0 instead of our server IP).
You will need to contact us to settle things up, your reseller account will not be suspended/ deleted.
(Also, 99.999% of the cases we will not remove any account!).
Regards,
Gil - ZoneServ.com.

Thanks for your answer.
I will move my hosting to ZoneServ.com after I tell my clients get ready to move.

I am no longer your customer, however, I have the rights to tell my story. The story obviously isn't just something I made up. I am not a bloody ugly guy who has plenty of free time to stuff around. To the fact of deleting and suspending accounts, it's in my review in the other thread. If you think what I said isn't the truth, fine, please explain it in my thread, IF YOU WOULD LIKE.
You, as an individual, do NOT have the rights to 'blame' that I am flaming you. And, PLEASE, do not ALWAYS blame YOUR customers. Had enough of it.
Feel free to report to any sort of authorities as you wish.
I'm retired, don't want to talk about the hell anymore. We had great time, that's it. I am more than happy to remember those happy times, not sad times.
Thanks.

To be honest, you and me as the host-client relationship, has been ended ages ago, we'll just stop bashing each other, okay?
If you find my previous posts a bit offensive, then I AM SORRY. I don't tend to be rude or aggressive in any kind.
Alright, that's it for my conversation in this topic. Thanks.

Dear Canglan,
I really do not think your issue should be discussed any more, I could explain and protect our name and win easily but I decided to be ok with you since you are a nice person (as it seems then, hope it didn't change). I got all of your money refunded, even thought our TOS clearly says all funds are non refundable after 7 days of service!
I really feel frustrated, as I do not understand why you keep bashing and trashing ZoneServ. We have been honest with you, and did our best! We do not deserve it!
Hope now that we have some understanding, we can both only grow up and learn from this adventure.
Have a nice weekend!
Gil - ZoneServ.com.

Fair enough. I won't comment on your service (whether it was good or bad) anymore. But hope you the best. Good luck dude.
