setting up a wifi hotspot

Hello all,
I am hoping to get some advice. So I have an office space within a building that has a T-1 line coming in (its just a commercial office space). Now I want to take a segment of that office space and convert it into a cafe/wifi hotspot.
So I have a wireless router plugged in via cat5 to a internet connection outlet in the wall. So people can site in the room and get wifi without any issues.
My question and issue is when I had 25 people in the room all using the wifi (to send recieve emails, ftp to their individual servers, etc) the internet started to lag and I even had to unplug and replug in the linksys/cisco router
(here is the model I have I know its a home use home so don't bash me for it lol)
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Cisco-Expe...#ProductDetail
What hardware would people recommend that would be able to handle 20 to 30 active wifi users (all at the same time)
Is their a commercial wifi router (would love to know what a Starbucks uses).
My ideal is to enable people to access the net without having to download anything. eventually I will setup some sort of login system to track who is using the network and what they are doing. But for know its a group of trust worthy people who I know on a personal level using the space
So looking for hardware recommendations that would enable me to setup a wifi hot spot that can handle max 30 people (all using it at the same time)
thanks

Have you thought that maybe you need more internet speed rather than a new router? Something like 20MB line for 25 people....

well I am trying to generate an additional revenue stream from some unused office space and trying to do it in a way where its not costing me more $$ to make that additional money. So I I was hoping it just might be hardware related that might be preventing the internet access from being as solid as it needs to b.

Well, taking into account the number of people that use internet at the same time. The speed you've got is no longer good. And no, I'm almost sure it's not hardware related. My Linksys WRT610N performs perfectly with more than 40 gamers playing a LAN game.

You don't need 20mbit for 25 people. Get 10mbit or as close to it as you can and you will be fine.

Or get configure your Wi-Fi, with software or another hardware to share it fairly within the users. Anyways, upgrade it.
