Guessing you are referring to the NetworkRedux @ www.NetworkRedux.com ?
If so..
Look at www.whois.sc/NetworkRedux.com ..says they registered domain on Sept. 18 2004 -- which means they are brand new -- and therefore probably lack any truly qualified reviews yet.
And you may want to ask them if they are a reseller themselves if it matters to you.

Well, I saw their site too and was curious... I am currently on P4HOST.COM and they seem to be failing miserably.
Here are the answers to my battery of questions submitted to them... Looks pretty dang professional to me ???

R.Biblos,
Are you saying their price is high? If so, what hosting are you with that is cheaper?
|
Posted by villadrive, 03-08-2005, 01:15 AM |
No, no...
I am saying that the costs are very reasonable @ www.NetworkRedux.com especially for the amount of space you get.
I am at P4HOST.COM and their reliability is not good, constant unannounced outages for "planned" server migrations, etc. Poor response from the ONE guy there - Kevin - and although he tries hard, he just cannot seem to keep it afloat in a reliable manner.
@ www.NetworkRedux.com you get 6 times the amount of space for only a few dollars more than what I currently pay - why am I explaining this to you? You can read the responses...
P4HOST.COM has one person running it all
NetworkRedux.com has what you see in their answer to my numerous questions.

Network Redux looks attractive, but I'm weary about moving from one crappy host to another.
I am using Iwebspeed.com which seemed like a good deal at the time, and ended up being the worst damn host I've ever used. I've used 5 web hosts now, and I'm getting sick and tired of switching because of down time. iwebspeed is particularly bad at keeping their nameservers up. But I got 20GB for $20/month. I didn't realize at the time that that was a good deal (ie, trouble waiting to happen).
Now I just want a reliable reseller hosting with decent space. 5GB with 50GB Transfer for 20 bucks a month would be fine as long as it was reliable. While 15GB looks nice, I really don't need it for my 15 sites (all php/mysql sites that conserve space nicely).
If anyone can vouch for Network Redux, great. Otherwise, please give me your suggestion for a FANTASTIC, will never want to switch, kind of reseller hosting co. I am not really reselling, but I do like the WHM system for my seperate sites...much easier to organize. I need at least 5GB of storage and I don't want to worry about bandwidth (I get about 500K visitors a month amoung my 15 sites).
Thanks in advance!

I placed an order with Network Redux yesterday for a reseller account.
It's interesting because if I had not been paying attention at the end of the transaction, I would have missed the user name and password that lets me into the account management system, which is separate from the control panel, and allows for the management of invoices, help tickets, and services.
After 24 hours, I still have received no welcome emails, not even a confirmation of my credit card charge, and have opened a second help ticket regarding the issue.
I'll let you know how they do, but in my experience, a complete lack of communication with the customer seems a bad business move.

I did also try to call Network Redux yesterday three times on their 800 number. It gives a message, "Please wait while I connect you..." over and over again until finally failing and recommending that I try to call back later.
The help tickets I posted yesterday were unceremoniously closed without comment.
I still have received no information from the company at all regarding my purchase or my account.

I would like everyone to know that any delay I had getting set up with Network Redux was related to an e-mail problem.
I am now set up, and I would recommend the system to ANYONE looking for a reliable host. The welcome e-mail was clear and concise - more detailed than I have seen elsewhere - and I had no difficulties setting up any of the available facilities.
It was a little more per month than I had originally budgeted and I am glad I made the leap. It was well worth knowing that every time I sit down at my machine to check my sites, all is well.
Hope this helps, if you are looking to make decision.

Ok,
I decided to sign up for network redux's Silver Reseller plan and I paid for a full year in advance and bought one additional IP address. So far, it's been great. It took about 6 hours to get my account setup from the time I signed up on the website, but when i did get the setup email, it was very informative and clear. I also like their troubleticket/invoicing system. I sent off a few tickets mostly to ask questions and to clarify a couple of things. I recieved helpful responses within 30-60 minutes.
If you do signup for the reseller account, be sure to sign up with the domain name you want to use to resell the accounts, because that domain name will be used for the two nameserver IP's they give you. You will also receive a 3rd IP address for the domain itself. Any additional IP addresses you buy can be used for additional domains you wish to setup or host. So, let me be clear: your main domain gets its own IP address plus 2 nameserver IP's. If you only need an IP for your reseller domain, you don't need to purchase additional IP addresses. If you want IP addresses for domains other than the your reseller domain, you DO need to purchase additional IP addresses. This was a little unclear to me when I signed up on their website, but luckily I needed the extra IP address anyway.
Overall, I've noticed that the server speed is very good via ftp and http. I've only had the service for a day now, but I'm very happy I switched to networkredux so far. I love their clean and concise website and it displays a level of professionalism and focus that is missing from most hosting providers. I have a feeling that these guys really know what they're doing. Obviously, network redux has amazing costs as well. I just hope my desire to save money doesn't burn me in the long run. But I'm not a cynical guy...so far, so good. I will give you my full review after a month.
