hi today i 've seen my error log online
# tail -f /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log
sometimes i see this message
[Wed Jan 12 02:03:22 2011] [notice] Graceful restart requested, doing restart
[Wed Jan 12 02:03:22 2011] [notice] mod_bw : Memory Allocated 0 bytes (each conf takes 36 bytes)
[Wed Jan 12 02:03:22 2011] [notice] mod_bw : Version 0.92 - Initialized [0 Confs]
[Wed Jan 12 02:03:22 2011] [notice] Apache/2.2.17 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.17 OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 mod_
does that means apache restarted itself? because if i check apache is not actually restarted
thanks in advance

Graceful restart requested, doing restart
means not a force restart, maybe a system update or software update result the issue. You can monitor the log in a few days.
