They have a fairly active presence here so there must be something wrong with that address.

They do have a public community, have you tried posting on it?

I posted a number of messages on their community. But as soon as I stopped using the company, Roj deleted every single one...
If you are considering using varhosting, I would say DON'T
The costs are good, but you get what you pay for. Sites are constantly down and Roj does not seem to care or he is not capable of running a server. I have never seen such terrible downtime.

From my experience, Roj is a great guy who runs a pretty good show.
Try emailing him at niyogi@varhosting.net

I'm here! And the address *should* work - if it doesn't, you can e-mail me directly as another had mentioned.
Cheers,
Roj

I hate to say, because Roj is a really nice guy.
But his support staff can't handle anything.
I've got a few friends who are with VAR Hosting, each in different packages..
The one who has the budget package: Crap support, slow server, bad uptime
The one who has the highest priced package: Great support, good server, and Nice uptime.
Which is another reason why I say his support staff need to handle things a little better.
When I sell someone a PC, they get treated the same whether they buy the $500 or the $2000 one.
It's just wrong to do it any other way.
Which is why it pains me to say it, because Roj works real hard and is a real nice guy, but his business needs to work on how they operate. It's just a pure shame.

I would agree that Roj is a nice guy. I used his services for many months. But being a nice guy does not cut it if you cannot deliver what customers pay for.
And the support was ridiculous..
I would like to know why every single post I had made in his forums whilst I was a customer, has now been removed. Every post I made was a genuine criticism of the level of service I was receiving. An honest company would not just wipe all details of a previous customer. My username was 25th-time. That user has been deleted from his forums.
Nice guy- Yes
Competent host - No
I am stating this from experience. If you value your business, do not use varhosting.
