Have a look at Juniper, Or Fortinet ( id say fortinet )
maybe check out checkpoint?
Dont forget though , If your DDOS is "bandwidth" intesive, It still wont help as your pipe will still be saturated with dropped traffic.

The thing is, how big of attack? You don't need a firewall. You need a ddos mitigation device and that will start around 10k usually.

A "real" DDoS would require something like a tipping point, and/or intervention from your upstream provider. If you just need a bullet proof firewall look at the Juniper SSG.

I have been using the Juniper SRX 100 and the SRX 210. Both are very nice boxes and the SRX210 can push over 500Mb/s if needed. They are an excellent price and have been very reliable so far.
