how install phpmyadmin on server?

| hi guys.
i'm trying to install latest version of phpmyadmin on my sevrer.
i tried yum install but it not working
so i downloaded the file from this address :
http://www.phpmyadmin.net/home_page/downloads.php
i downloaded " phpMyAdmin-3.3.9.2-all-languages.tar.gz " on server, then unzip it.
now how i can install phpmyadmin???
p.s:i have Centos 5.5

| Try.. Google. No seriously though theres to many LAMP guides out there.
Have you thought about trying xampp, that comes with everything you need FTP, PHPMYADMIN, MYSQL, APACHE2 etc

| If red hat or centos.. install the remi repo, then just yum install phpmyadmin

| Why isn't it working via Yum? We have installed it several times already and it works just fine.
Only thing you need to adjust though, is the restriction of access, by default it's only enabled to be accessed via localhost.

| It should be working via yum without any problems:
yum install phpmyadmin
What error message are you receiving when you are running the yum command?
