I think the password you provided is too short. Try something long.

If you are on linux plesk, make sure the line in /etc/pam.d/plesk_usermng_encrypted is commended bootex:~#cat /etc/pam.d/plesk_usermng_encrypted #password required pam_plesk.so try_first_pass #password required pam_deny.so ##this line comment it out password required pam_plesk.so try_first_pass

how can i please uninstall plesk ? thanks

Hi, Maybe I could help if you tell your OS (1), Plesk version (2) and exact step you perform before you get an error (3). Strange enough you see this message on creating client, as clients shouldn't need any system user operations... Regards

Hello i resolved the trouble i installed the 9.5 version and deleting the 10.0 with reinstalling server thanks

nice to see that you resolved it. looks like 10.0 might still have some bugs... X.0 releases are always buggy

We have the same issue with no fix at 10.1.1 Anyone gets this fixed without reinstall Plesk?

Posted by abdicar, 03-10-2011, 11:51 AM
We got this fix and we wrote an article (in Spanish) with all the related info in http://www.hackingballz.com/articulo...ser/Page1.html Basically, you should replace the passwd and the system-auth with the configuration that we publish and it will start working. Tested in 3 different servers with those errors and all are working properly.
