Is this possible with reselling?

hi
I haven't had any experience with reselling web hosting, so bare with me please.
Myself and a friend are going to setup a few websites in the near future, most of which will be rather bandwidth and space intensive.
So I was wondering is it possible to startup a reseller account and use this to host our sites for free (or cheaply)? I guess we would still need to sell hosting?
Any other advice people can supply, links etc? Where to get a cheap, but reliable host to setup a reseller account with (preferably one with a lot of space and unlimited bandwidth)?
cheers

That would be a rather odd requirement. The vast majority of providers won't be asking you to resell at all. You pay for the account and you can use it in any way you want. That includes hosting your own sites.

So would it be a lot cheeaper to host my sites in this way?
... i.e. get a resellers account and host my sites using it
Any recommendations for cheap, but reliable hosts that include PHP and mySQL etc?
cheers

A couple of things first :
There is NO such thing as unlimited bandwidth and id advise staying clear of anyone who does offer that.
Cheap and reliable dont always fit right into the same sentence, though you may find the odd "cheap" & "reliable" host.
90% (if not more) of the webhosts out there should be able to provide you with MySQL & PHP, its pretty much a standard nowadays and hard to run a website without them, especially if your wanting to use either a forum or some kind of CMS.
The one reseller that springs to mind though for there costs is Resellerzoom
Ive never used them so i cant really give opinions on there service but search for them here, im sure there will be a few threads/posts about them.
All the best.

Just because it is a reseller account does not imply that it is strictly for reselling hosting, say you were to get an 50 domain reseller account, you can use that to host all of your own websites. Or you could if you wanted to, host 40 of your own sites, sell the other 10 spots and than the plan can pay for itself. But under normal circumstances if you are getting a reseller account you are under no obligation to sell hosting you can use it for personal use or w/e. Hope that helps.

One friend of mine uses an account at Webhostingbuzz (webhostingbuzz.com) - and he is very happy with them. He says, the account is fast, the uptime is very high and the support is fast.
